SPS Clutch Lever Instructions
Silverback racing clutch Levers
Disconect clutch cable at engine. Remove Old Clutch Lever and Bar Mount
If Clutch cable is over year old, frayed or rusty (REPLACE IT)
Thru the years of testing and loaning to others , We have found the the most common problem is a bad clutch cable? "Nuff Said!"
Install clutch cable in SPS Clutch Lever , Then lightly tighten bar mount, reinstall clutch cable at engine side .

Adjust Clutch Cable with the cable adjuster for 1/8 of an inch free play at the clutch lever pivot opening (one nickel) should fit into the opening half of the distance of the nickel...

Sit on the bike and adjust the Clutch lever to the desired position that is good for you, tighten Bar Mount Bolts,
Ride the bike to ensure no slippege and the clutch cable is seated the the cable adjuster.re-check free play again.

depress lower handle and activate the upper lever, slowly release lower and upper lever until the upper is resting on the adjusting bolt, check the gap at the lever pivot opening , should be the width of two nickles and a dime. This is only a reference point to get started, fine tuneing                      will depend on how hard you want to leave!

Ride the bike and get use to pulling in the lower lever  with two fingers, and pulling in the upper lever with the index finger,
"Get the feel for releesing the two handles at the same time, applying equal pressure on the upper lever with the index finger, and the two fingers on the bottom lever. The releese should be rather quick, Do Not Dump the Clutch, Just a quick release of both handles, Making sure that the upper lever is being activated
pratice shifting from 2nd to 3rd with the upper lever activated, there is a lot of methods used, I prefer just holding the index finger straight out , During next gear shift, this ensures de-activation of upper lever.

Next comes the FUN:
In order to adjust the lever correctly you must leave the starting line at the same RPM everytime, most 4 strokes have a rev limiter, if yours does, then hold the throttle wide open and releese the two levers at the same time, if the bike wheelstands higher than what you want, Adjust the Allen screw towards the upper lever about  a 1/4 turn, and repeat the launch, If the bike does not leave hard , Back the screw out a 1/4 turn, do this until the bike leaves hard . (YOU SHOULD NOT FEEL ANY SLIPPING WHEN ADJUSTED CORRECTLY, If you do BACK OFF THE SCREW.
Two Strokes, holding the throttle wide open will flood the pipe and act like a rev limiter, the method above works great too!

If your bike does not have a rev limiter, you will need to use the exhaust sound as a reference point for RPM, or hold the throttle in a 1/8th or a 1/4 , what ever is comfortable for you,Just remember that the more consistent the rpm is on the launch the better you will be able to dial the lever in.

Try to practice using the lever sitting still with the engine off .
Soon the process will be second nature, Getting the Whole Shot will be the norm.
